If you are reading this it’s probably because you are in some way connected to us directly. We want to begin by thanking God for bringing you into our lives. You are the subject of our first testimony here on our blog because all of you are a part of something incredible that started at the beginning of last year. I am referring to the process we call partnership development.
Doing this job requires ministry partners to support us financially and prayerfully. This task seemed daunting to say the least. We had no idea how many of you were going to step up.There’s really only one word to describe how it played out, miraculous.
The Provision:
This partnership journey began in December of 2020 and we were blown away to realize we had been supported enough for our first year by the third week of March 2021! It happened so fast and by none of my own strength.
The Power Of Prayer:
At the beginning I didn’t even know where or how to start. Our friends Dave and Louise interceded on our behalf with a passionate prayer for provision and for shelter. Another friend said start your morning with prayer, and ask Jesus who you need to contact today. See who he places on your heart. So that’s how we started, I would wake up, sit down and pray. More than once Jesus put one of you in my mind, and the next thing I knew you were calling me to ask how you could support us. I was blown away by the power of His Holy Spirit and your obedience!
Scripture Of Encouragement:
Some scripture that comes to my mind is Mathew 7:7 - “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
it was encouraging and assuring to experience so many of you partnering with Him as this door to ministry was opened in part by your attentiveness to the Spirit and your willingness. it was also amazing to see His plan in action as we crossed paths with so many of you during those few months. We were seeking God and found him in all of you. You encouraged us with your words, prayers and finances.
